The relationship between legal mechanisms and patriotic education with the development of spiritual and moral values in Russian schoolchildren
Abstract
Background. The development of spiritual and moral values in Russian schoolchildren in modern conditions is a complex process, in which legal mechanisms and patriotic education act as interconnected components of a single system. Against the backdrop of the transformation of the sociocultural environment and the challenges of globalization, an analysis of the effectiveness of existing legal and regulatory instruments for educational influence and their impact on the development of value orientations in the younger generation is particularly relevant. The problem of this research lies in the insufficient understanding of the mechanisms of interaction between legal regulation of the educational process and the practice of developing patriotic and spiritual-moral qualities in schoolchildren. This leads to the consideration of individual aspects of educational interventions and the decrease in their effectiveness.
The purpose is to identify the characteristics of the relationship between legal mechanisms and patriotic education with the process of developing spiritual and moral values in Russian schoolchildren, as well as to determine ways to optimize this process. The study analyzed regulatory documents governing educational activities in educational institutions, examined theoretical approaches to understanding the spiritual and moral development of individuals, and considered the practical aspects of implementing patriotic education in schools. The results of the study demonstrate that the effectiveness of developing spiritual and moral values in schoolchildren directly depends on the quality of the legal framework for the educational process and the systematic nature of patriotic education.
Materials and methods. This article utilized a socio-legal approach, which examined the relationship between legal mechanisms and patriotic education, and an analytical approach, which allowed for the examination of regulatory legal acts. This study analyzed regulatory documents governing educational activities in Russian educational institutions, including the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of November 9, 2022, and the Strategy for the Development of Education in the Russian Federation through 2025.
Results. The study shows that the effectiveness of developing spiritual and moral values in Russian schoolchildren directly depends on the quality of the relationship between legal mechanisms and educational practices. Only through a systematic approach to addressing the identified issues can the goals set in government documents for preserving and strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values be achieved.
