Background. In the context of the digital transformation of society and post-pandemic challenges (decreased social competence, increased anxiety, lack of sensory-motor experience, the formation of a "hybrid" reality), there is an urgent need for a targeted reconstruction of the preschool child's developing environment. Purpose. Theoretical and methodological substantiation of the model of the information and educational environment (IOS) of a preschool organization as a pedagogically organized part of a wide information space capable of ensuring the personal development of a child through the implementation of psychological and pedagogical conditions. Materials and methods. The work uses theoretical methods – analysis, synthesis, comparison, modeling, as well as historical, evolutionary and integration approaches. The methodological basis consists of environmental, axiological, and subject-dialogic approaches supplemented by Gibson's theory of affordances. Results. The provisions of domestic and foreign studies (D.I. Feldstein, D.B. Elkonin, L.S. Vygotsky, A.G. Asmolov, T.D. Marcinkovskaya, J. Gibson, etc.), regulatory documents (FGOS DO, Strategy for the development of education) are analyzed. The conceptual elements of the model of pedagogical support for the personal development of preschoolers in the information and educational environment (IC) are developed; the concepts of "information space" (spontaneous, global) and "information and educational environment" (organized, safe, developing) are distinguished. The principles of IOS design are substantiated: environmental saturation and variability, safety and ethics, information value of content, axiological reflection, dialogical openness and mutually enriching interaction. The proposed model is focused on preserving the value of childhood, developing subjectivity and forming a responsible attitude towards digital culture among preschoolers.
