The service learning technology is considered as an effective pedagogical tool for integrating the personal and professional development of future social workers. However, there is insufficient empirical data in Russian pedagogy to systematically assess the effectiveness of this technology and its impact on the formation of students' readiness for social and professional service.</p> <p>The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the pedagogical program for the formation of students' readiness for future specialists in social work for social and professional service based on the technology of service training.</p> <p>Methods. The empirical study was conducted on the basis of the Russian State Social University. Two experimental groups participated in the experiment (EG1: Moscow, n=175; EG2: RSSU branches, n=190), who mastered the program using the "ministry training" technology in 2024-2026, and a control group (KG, Moscow, n=186), who studied according to the traditional program. To assess the dynamics of readiness, the author's methodology "Students' Readiness for social and professional service" (GSPS) was used, which includes 40 statements and evaluates four components: value-motivational, epistemological, activity-based and reflexive. The data was processed using descriptive statistics and nonparametric criteria (Mann-Whitney, Wilcoxon).</p> <p>Results. The results showed a statistically significant positive trend in all components of readiness in the experimental groups after the introduction of the pedagogical program. The most pronounced growth was observed in the value-motivation and activity components. The data obtained confirm the effectiveness of the "service learning" model for the formation of systemic readiness of future social workers for professional service, which makes it advisable to integrate it into the educational programs of universities.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Обоснование. Полученные данные подтверждают эффективность модели «обучения служением» для формирования системной готовности будущих социальных работников к профессиональному служению, что делает целесообразным ее интеграцию в образовательные программы вузов.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>готовность к социальному служению</kwd><kwd>готовность к профессиональному служению</kwd><kwd>студенты</kwd><kwd>будущий специалист социальной работы</kwd><kwd>программа формирования</kwd><kwd>обучение служением</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>readiness for social service</kwd><kwd>readiness for professional service</kwd><kwd>students</kwd><kwd>future social work specialist</kwd><kwd>education program</kwd><kwd>service learning</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Abramova, S.
